Have something you love that isn't working and needs repairing? Bring it over to Mernda Repair Café and let our skilled repairers do the fixing. This free service is open once a month on Saturdays between 10:00am - 2:00pm. Please check the dates and availability of repairers on our website.
Once every month, one of our community members takes the lead and cooks lunch, presenting a perfect opportunity to bond over a delicious meal whilst relishing it. Join us at our free community lunch at the Uniting Church Town Hall and learn about the cultural heritage behind each cuisine.
Parent Pathways is a voluntary support service for parents with children under the age of 6 years and not currently in paid employment run by WCC.
The service can help parents identify and achieve future goals.
Parent Pathways is tailored to you, so the support you get depends on what you need and want that will help you reach your future personal, work or study goals while recognising your role as a parent or carer.
Some examples of how Parent Pathways can help:
-Financial support towards the cost of a computer for study, to get your licence, pay of a uniform, study costs or help with the costs of childcare
-Connection to further education such as doing a training course or study
-Access to other services such as language or literacy program, financial support, legal or family violence support.

Learn how to use hand and power tools, work with wood and other materials, know the inside out of simple fix-it jobs while in the company of other budding handywomen. The Shed is filled with the sounds of hammers, sawing and, of course, laughter.
