Sustainable Housing Practices

MY VITALS is a collaborative project using the expertise of a variety of expert stakeholders to promote to households and industry practitioners the methods on how to make new houses and renovation projects more energy efficient and sustainable. This project has been funded by a community grant of the City of Whittlesea and is a collaboration between Deakin University and Whittlesea Community House and Mernda Neighbourhood House.MY VITALS comprise modules which provides guidance on the process of designing and building a sustainable energy efficient home. It offers practical advice and innovative solutions that can be applied to new builds as well as renovation plans. It is hoped that these modules will provide much-needed impetus for building and retrofitting houses in The City of Whittlesea and elsewhere in the country by providing an easy to use and understand guide.
